Tuesday

Today we went to Silver Dollar city. It was fun. We rode rides and saw lots of fun stuff. We also hit two caches. Tomorrow we plan on going to ride the ducks and then maybe do a winery tour. Then we are doing Dixie Stampied. it will be fun.

Monday - Morning

Its Monday morning. We woke up and ate a breakfast of food that we brought with us. we are trying to limit the times that we eat out. My sister-inlaw has some tickets for silver dollar city. We will be doing that later on in the week. We found that there are ways to take vacation very cheap. we are staying in a condo that julie's grandma owns if we wernt staying here we could be staying at KOA campgrounds they are cheap and have some good cabins to stay in. Today i think we are just going down town and hanging out. maybe a cache or two. We will see

It was a long trip but we are here. It took a long time. We are at
branson. No real trouble we left a little late

Geobash

We are on our way to Midwest Geobash. We will come back home tonight and sleep at home and leave on Sunday morning at 5:00 am. We cant wait it will be a fun trip.

Coupons

One of the things that we found to help cut costs on the trip is looking for coupons. You can find them at many online places. we also are going to to take a cooler and pack our lunches and we are going and buy some supplies along the way. we arnt going as far this time since we changed our plans but still need to buy stuff

Lost my Job

I was laid off from my job This past week. I was worried that i wouldnt be able to go on the trip. I know if i find a job most employers will say ok you can go but you cant get paid for it. That is exactly my problem. I was counting on income coming in while i was gone so i can pay my bills. We already have most of the actual trip paid for so i was thinking that julie and the kids would just go. However julie and i both really want me to be able to go. So here is what we are doing. We are going to be blogging and video blogging the whole time about how to take a trip on a budget and make it fun. I know you have lots of good ways to spend your money.
